Best Tea for Colds
Common cold is very often in periods in which one season of a year ends and another begins.
The symptoms of common cold may be so exhausting that people who suffer from it may be less able to perform everyday activities or may even force them to lie all day.

Elderberry, lemon balm, mint and purple coneflower tea

In order to make this tea, you need a teaspoon of each plant and about 300ml of boiling water. Mix all the plants, pour boiling water over them, put a lid on it and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then strain and drink.
Drink three times a day without sugar.
Onion, apple and lemon tea
Although the combination of these ingredients may not be delicious, it’s perfect for combating common cold.
If you want to make this tea, you will need:
– An onion or red onion bulb,
– One lemon,
– 1l of water.
Wash thoroughly the apple and lemon and remove the husk and ends from the onion. Cut the lemon in half and put it in a pot with water. Put the apple and lemon, as well. Then put the mixture on the heat and wait for it to boil. Then cook about 5 minutes.
After that, strain the mixture and squeeze the lemon you have cooked into it. Then divide the mixture into three equal parts and leave it cool down. Then you should drink one third of the tea immediately and two remain parts during the day. Next morning you will notice that the symptoms are far less severe.
Ginger and honey tea:
Ginger root is extremelely healthy and when combined with honey, it’s a powerful remedy for combating common cold.
If you want to use ginger root and honey to treat common cold, the best way to do that is to make tea.
You will need one small, washed and peeled ginger root, a teaspoon of honey and about 300ml of water. When you prepare all the necessary ingredients, put the ginger root into water and cook it until it’s near boiling. Then strain the content and dissolve a teaspoon of honey in it. Wait for 5 minutes and then drink the tea.
Chamomile tea is one of the most frequently used teas. One of its properties includes combating common cold. So, if you feel the symptoms of common cold, consume this tea. Drink 5 or 6 cups of chamomile tea throughout the day.
If you want, you can add lemon juice or honey for better results. However, you shouldn’t add sugar.
Mint, honey, lemon and turmeric tea:
Each of these ingredients is efficient for removing the symptoms of common cold. When combined, they work faster and stronger.
Pour 250ml of water over a mint tea bag and half a teaspoon of turmeric. Dissolve a teaspoon of honey in it and add two teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Leave it cool down for about 5 to 10 minutes and then drink while still warm.
Don’t add sugar and drink twice or three times a day.
Onion, honey and cinnamon:
In order to prepare this extremely efficient tea for combating common cold, first take 1l of water. Pour it in a pot and put the onion bulb with the husk and ends removed. Cook the onion. Then strain and divide the tea into three or four equal parts. In the first part pour a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon.
Wait for the honey and cinnamon dissolve and then drink the tea. Drink the rest of the tea during the day with honey and cinnamon added, too.

Thymes tea boosts the immune system and speeds up the process of healing the symptoms of common cold. At the same time, this tea is good for sinuses, improves expectoration and prevents spreading the symptoms on the lungs.
For better results you can add honey or a little freshly squeezed lemon juice.
