Medicinal advantages of taheebo tea have been known for thousands of years by Incas and other native tribes in southern parts of South America’s rainforest. Also known as Pau d’Arco, taheebo tea comes from internal bark of Tabebuia avellanedae tree, which is typically found in rainforests of South America. It can grow to up to ninety meters.

This tree has strong roots, it’s tough and resilient against strong winds and bad weather conditions. Native South Americans always pointed out the fact that despite rainforest’s humidity where this tree grows, trunk is never infected with fungi or microbes.
